The Friends of the Old Forge Library invite the community to attend their Annual Luncheon. This year’s venue will be held in the Community Room at the library and will be catered by Walt’s Diner. Call the library or stop in to see the entrée choices, reserve your space and prepay by Friday, January 10.
This is an opportunity to learn and practice techniques for mindful connection with nature. Cultivate balance and inspiration and release stress. Get outside and go within and learn the benefits to body mind and spirit. John and Thera are the founders of Mountain Mystic Guide Company.
Please call the library for books to be discussed!
New members are always welcome!
The Friends of the Old Forge Library, founded in 1977, is a volunteer organization whose goals are to promote library programming and to help raise revenue to support the library. The group sponsors Authors’ Day, Art Exhibits, and events of local interest such as Adirondack Programming. In addition, the Friends publish four newsletters a year. Revenue is raised through book, bake, & bazaar sales, and their annual BASH Benefit.
The Friends meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Noon and welcome new members.
