Check with the library to find out what book we are discussing each month, then join other book-lovers. An informal discussion group, always welcoming new members both in person and via Zoom.
The Friends of the Old Forge Library, founded in 1977, is a volunteer organization whose goals are to promote library programming and to help raise revenue to support the library. The group sponsors Authors’ Day, Art Exhibits, and events of local interest such as Adirondack Programming. In addition, the Friends publish four newsletters a year. Revenue is raised through book, bake, & bazaar sales, and their annual BASH Benefit.
The Friends meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Noon and welcome new members.
Craft supplies are provided. Patrons pick up a grab’n’go craft kit to make a craft at home. Then join your neighbors from your own home on Zoom to make a craft together. Pick up craft materials on Tuesday or Wednesday before the 5pm Zoom crafting parties on Wednesdays.
