The Old Forge Library will host the community’s first “Coffee with a Cop” session at the library (220 Crosby Blvd. Old Forge) on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 10:30 am. The library will supply coffee and other refreshments as well as baked goods to those who participate to come and strike up a conversation with Town of Webb Police Officer, Mike Uhl.
Coffee with a Cop sessions are happening in communities all over the country. The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. The idea is to bring police officers and the community members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other.
As with all library programs, this event is free to attend. For additional information call the Old Forge Library at 315-369-6008 or email oldforge@midyork.org.
