Megan Plete-Pistol’s newest book chronicles a less-often explored portion of the Adirondack’s history: the non-famous mountain folk who etched out a life of their own design among the pines and ponds of the magnificent southern Adirondack foothills region. Megan is contributing reporter, photographer, and columnist for the Boonville Herald and a freelance outdoor writer. She has a degree in public relations and journalism from Utica College. She grew up hunting and fishing, mostly with her dad, and learned trapping from her brother. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
